Main Purpose:
The GME Coordinator Development is responsible for strategically leading the conference. This responsibility includes reviewing proposals for future sites, setting overall conference goals, setting topics, vetting speakers, reviewing session proposals, and providing guidance as needed. The Committee will ensure that the structure and content of the Annual Conferences are representative of the community.

Objectives:
- Develops theme and overall conference educational program
- Recommends, recruits and selects keynote and general session speakers with assistance from MMCGME staff
- Recruits and encourages colleagues to submit abstracts for poster sessions
- Review past conference topics and evaluations
- Provide expertise on content and speakers
- Participate in recommending and recruiting speakers within budget guidelines
