Reimbursement Main purpose: The Reimbursement Committee oversees policies and procedures needed to ensure accurate GME reimbursement, which is accomplished by managing the standardization and use of the RMS system for calculating FTE's and supporting CMS audits. Objectives: - Identify and analyze reimbursement challenges that impact Minnesota teaching hospitals and recommend strategic solutions.
- Monitor the RMS system for purposes of accurate Medicare reporting.
- Support the efforts of the MMCGME Board and MMCGME Services.
- Review policy and regulation changes and make appropriate adjustments in the reimbursement process.
Resident Assistance Program (RAP)
Main Purpose The RAP Committee, supported by Sand Creek counselors, is dedicated to providing short term (up to five sessions) confidential and professional counseling services to residents and fellows, and their immediate family members. RAP addresses a variety of issues that impact resident’s professional and personal well being. It is the goal of this committee to maintain and uphold the standards of high quality professional service that RAP is known for. Objectives - Review program activity and discuss ways to effectively improve services to the resident and fellow population.
- Devise new ways in which to best promote the resident/fellow health.
